Sacraments & Faith Formation

Sacramental Program

Catholic children in our Parish and surrounds are prepared for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation at St Xavier’s School. Children from state schools are prepared by catechists. They join with St Xavier’s children for a Retreat Day close to the end of the preparation period.

Baptism 

     Parents are required to attend baptismal preparation meetings.

Marriage

Couples are required to meet with the Parish Priest and to attend a day seminar in marriage preparation.

Becoming A Catholic - RCIA

The RCIA program is available in the parish. 

Catechists

Catechists teach Scripture to Catholic students in both Primary and High State Schools.
